Matthew J. VanBeveren, Esq.

Matthew VanBeveren obtained his J.D., cum laude, from the Syracuse University College of Law, where he served on the Syracuse Law Review. Matt obtained his B.S. in Environmental Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science & Forestry. Matt has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the field of Professional Liability Defense. He also is a recipient of the Onondaga County Pro Bono Practice Committee Award.

Matt frequently lectures on issues related to medical malpractice defense at the St. Elizabeth College of Nursing and for the Mohawk Valley Health System. He has also published articles in the area of health law and trial practice skills in the Syracuse Law Review. Matt is a board member of the Tully School District Board of Education and the St. Elizabeth College of Nursing. He is also the Attorney Advisor for the Tully High School Mock Trial Team.

Matt is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States District Court, Northern and Western Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association and New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Matt resides in Tully with his wife Gabby and three children.
